SANA
UX/UI
As part of my Masters on IxD and UX Design we were lucky enough to work with Sana (pseudonym used to protect company's privacy). Sana is, in their own words,“a global e-health company offering a cloud based SaaS and analytics solutions to organisations”. This software is targeted at companies with an interested in offering their employees a platform where they can track their health and get advice on nutrition and general well-being.
Information such as the quantity and type of food, sleep hours and exercise is submitted on a daily basis by employees to their dashboard.

USER SURVEY
WORKSHOP
In our second meeting with the SANA team we had a workshop session in which we listed what features and goals we thought were the most essential for their product from the user’s point of view. We categorised them and used a prioritisation matrix to define features that needed immediate fixing. My work focused specifically on the USER DASHBOARD.

PROBLEM STATEMENTS & HYPOTHESIS
The user or employee dashboard is a feature of the product that is implemented in order to visualise the data they provide to the app. In this way, they can see at a glance their strengths and weaknesses through charts.
One of the problems that the company needed to address was that the charts were not clear enough for the employees, and as a result, they did not know where the information was coming from and what it meant or what it could do for them.
The hypothesis displayed on the image below was prioritised from a list of five and became the focus over the following steps of the project.
IDEATE AND PROTOTYPE
LOW FIDELITY PROTOTYPE
A low fidelity prototype was designed for a first user testing where participants had to follow a specific path. Two tasks were required:
1. Open the menu, go to the dashboard and try to get extra information from the PERSONAL CROSS PROFILE analysis. Find out what GUT HEALTH means.
2. Then go back to the main screen and see if you can change your 10 days WATER tracker to a 10 days SLEEP tracker.

HIGH FIDELITY PROTOTYPE
Prototyping and user testing conducted in the first phase of the project, along with client feedback, psychological factors, interaction design principles and user test findings are integrated in the production of a fully branded High Fidelity Interactive Prototype and a UX Design report.
